AccuCold’s battery operated temperature alarm is designed to be externally mounted on any refrigerator or freezer. It provides an audio and visual alert when the interior temperature rises or falls out of the high and low set points, which are user-programmable. The alarm features a NIST calibrated temperature display of the current, high, and low temperature (refreshed when the memory is cleared) to the nearest tenth of a degree. Users can switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit. The temperature sensor is enclosed in a glycol-filled bottle to protect it from rapid temperature changes when the refrigerator door is opened. A low battery alert flashes to warn users.
